Made with the same IZANAS fiber that made J-Braid so popular, it now incorporates Daiwa’s Silicon “Coating PE” technology, which creates a smoother, more streamlined braid with hydrophobic properties that enhance durability and improve sensitivity.

The silicone coating of J-BRAID EXPEDITION prevents the braid from absorbing water. This means, importantly, that it won’t absorb mud or sediments present in the water, which are the main causes of braid wear over time. Thanks to its hydrophobic properties, J-BRAID EXPEDITION repels water, ensuring greater durability compared to traditional braids, delivering more value and better performance.
